What is NTOSHC Association?

NTOSHC is a peak body for outside school hours care for the Northern Territory.

We are a Not For Profit Organisation that aims to support, promote and advocate the outside school hours care sector.

History

The Association began officially in 1989 as a support group to all staff working in OSHC Centre's at the time.

With no training available and very little support from the school system the Association became the lifeline of Directors, Coordinators and staff working in OSHC Centre's.

The Association was incorporated early in 1995 and is affiliated with the National Out of School Hours Services Association, NOSHSA. We have two delegates on the National Association that give a voice in many Commonwealth Government Policies.

Our Association currently represents 50% of all OSHC Centre’s in the Northern Territory. Growing rapidly as we move into a new era of School Age Care.

The Association is a run by dedicated  group of volunteers made up of NT Directors that have an invested interested in supporting our Industry.
